Hudsonville Ice Cream featured in the Detroit Free Press, article by Greta Guest.
Hudsonville ice cream sales have increased 20% in each of the past four years. Bruce Kratt, vp for sales & marketing, stated, “What’s driven our growth has been our expansion throughout Michigan … and most notably Detroit accepting us as the local brand”. According to SymphonyIRI, Detroit accounts for $70.4 million in ice cream sales and Hudsonville ice cream has an 8% market share. Bruce Kratt added, “It all stemmed from not only is this great-tasting ice cream, but it’s made right here in Michigan”. Supporting Michigan companies is important to the Michigan consumer.
