Our unique flavor development process embraces the idea that “eating ice cream is an experience that creates memories”. Our “recipe” for developing a new flavor includes large measures of experience, passion and down right “pickiness” for creating a memorable flavor.
Our flavor development team includes very passionate people who enjoy GOOD ice cream. Their ice cream flavor concepts are brought to life in our lab where we try as many as 35 new flavors to get just 2 that can be called Hudsonville. Potential new flavors are evaluated by our team of extraordinaire “ice cream eaters”.
Our Team is committed to eating as much ice cream as necessary to ensure that only the best ice cream concepts make the Hudsonville line-up!
The Process
We start our new flavor process by identifying new and creative flavor concepts that you will enjoy passionately. Foremost in this process is not to stray from our time tested mix recipe.
We may “tinker” with new flavorings and inclusions, but never with the ingredients that make our ice cream smooth and creamy.
